CAN I SUGGEST THIS? J K SIVAN

CAN I SUGGEST  THIS…? – J.K. SIVAN

You will find this an interesting  story worth reading.  A king built  a  palace with a room fitted with mirror everywhere, that is  on all sides including the roof and the floor. He enjoyed seeing his image everywhere and felt very happy that  he was omnipresent! He  heard his voice  echoing  from all sides with more volume.
A dog   which lived in the palace grounds, one day,  happened to enter the palace  and accidentally found itself  in the  mirror  room which  remained not closed.   The dog  was shocked to  see a large pack of dogs everywhere  surrounding it, baring their teeth, barking angrilhy and loudly ready to attack any time.
When the poor dog  barked, it was  responded with numerous dogs barking back with more noise. The dog neared the first image near it and  and began biting the air. Hundreds of dogs bit it in return.  As this continued unknown to anyone in the palace, the next day someone who came to clean the room found the lifeless dog with images of hundreds of dead dogs.

What is the lesson we learn from this  small powerful story? Our life on earth is  a reflection of our own thoughts, deeds and speech,  We are what our thoughts are.
That is why we should curtail our anger, avoid loose talk, hatred and develop love towards all instead. It will miraculously  convert our life quite happy, pleasant and enjoyable every second until we are removed from earth.

Of all the games I observed that  Tennis and Volley ball games alone  begin and start with ”love all”. In cricket you will see in TV the anger and hateful look of the batsman, bowler or fielder, biting teeth, and gesticulating at others and the  opposite team total  enmityh, disapproval, anger and hatred,  In foot ball also it is the same story. Will anyone think and change the pattern of these games too?
The best practice to become peaceful is to seek solitude and be silent. Distractions create difficulty in thinking and thought flow, because of interruption and diversion.

We  go to parks  to sit alone and watch, in a relaxing mood, watching the children running, shouting and playing around happily. Their happiness makes us also very happy,  breathing air without animosity. Sitting under a tree, silently too brings this happy mood.  Finding a place to sit and stretch our legs  at  open terrace or at the back yard, or  in the open balcony, veranda or upstairs, likewise  bring the  much needed peace and tranquility in us.

While relaxing, I  always look back through my  thoughts, both positive and negative: Understand why at times I  sad or happy from time to time, and contemplate on the reasons reason behind these feelings.  This introspection will  help us to  put things in proper perspective. It will also clear our mind on future actions and decide on changes  we need to make in our attitude and relationship with fellow beings..

Every moment of our life presents some  novel  experience. We  should try to use our senses to experience of the past happenings and retain the good ones which will benefit us and avoid the bitter experience not to recur.  It will  Increase our awareness and observation of events surrounding us  “here and now”.
