CHILDRENS’ DAY 14TH NOVEMBER. – NANGNALLUR J K SIVAN
Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders, and nation developers. It is highly important to be very careful in training, shaping, and laying a strong foundation for their future progress. Catching them young in their formative period is of primary importance. Children should develop into better, stronger individuals. School education should help them greatly towards this end. Childrens’ personality depends on what they learn at home, at school and through their association.Academic excellence is not enough. Parents have a great and important role to play in the life of children.scoring marks should not be the only aim. The native and inherent physical, artistic and emotional skills of each and every child should be traced and enhanced. They are the wealth of every nation. Today’s children end up in America for a job to earn more and settle there. This will ruin our nation’s progress.Children grasp and learn very fast. We should promote their creativity. They should be helped to develop their clear objectives and opportunities should be provided at home and at curriculums. They should be trained to think independently and develop their life skills. Leaders are not born. They are made. From early age, they should have positive impact on everything they do. Remember, children are moulded by parents. We must appreciate and encourage children.Discipline is necessary in every household,. It is essential to help kids to choose acceptable behaviours and learn self control. Thus they grow to be responsible adults.Nowadays parents and elders dont have adequate time to spend and play withchildren. They are allowed to be loners with a mobile in hand. This should be avoaided. Many parents are employed morn to night and have little time to be with children. It is unfortunate. Money is not the goal of life.Environments shap the behaviour of children. Identify and introduce proper role models for children, leaving it to their choice.Today’s child is tomorrow’s father.
