‘Oh… those days!!       –  nanganallur  J.K. SIVAN

Let me  loudly muse on what my  mind  feels.  I have spent my life for  many decades without the current  modern comforts and facilities.  I find it  difficult  to  adjust myself to the increasing demands of the situation in this digital world.  It  results of course  in my having to encounter  difficulties and inconvenience without a murmur.  This too has been added to my ong experience and knowledge of the world I so far lived.  During my days I never felt bad for not knowing these modern gadgets.  We were all using and depending on God, and the innate intelligence and intellect He has gifted to us.
We all have led a disciplined life, backed by faith in religion, traditional practices and respect of elders, besides simplicity in our r life style.  No problem was  there  with our  health and many lived  for long, beause no one  of those times  meddled with life, and never used steroids, antibiotics etc..  Never interfered with with the natural system.  As  no  conveyance like what we have now in the form of two wheelers, autos, motor cycles, car and buses were available, every one walked, out of necessity, which kept them strong and fit.  They believed in god and  obser fasting, vrathas, upavasas, selecting  light homely food whch  kept them healthy. Their food habits  did not include  pitzas, spicy food or oily substances like we eat now  in many hotels.
In spiritual and religious sector too  our  ancestors  performed  an  exemplary service. They were not greedy or selfish and never knew bribery, cheating  etc., in politics.  They maintained discipline, devotion, dedication and  love for humanity both in  family and in society at large in the development and maintenance of tradition and  culture. They lived mentally uncorrupted. There were no parties as we have now.   Absence of electiricy made them retire to bed early and wake up early in the next morning.  Water was not  sold or bought then.  Families were united then and bonding of relationship was common.  Now  some parents dont have communication with their own children is pitiable.Disintegration of family has isolated everyone.
Aging certainly weakens everupme due to passage of time. It is a law of nature. Now many senior citizen long for kindness, and love and live alone.  They need to bet aken good care of.
