FOUNDER PRESIDENT OF SKST
J.K. SIVAN founded SREE KRISHNARPANAM SEVA TRUST with the close cooperation of Sri Sundararam Ramachandran, in 2013 with a view to spread the message of Krishna all over. He began writing short stories in both Tamil and English on spiritual topics from the Hindu epics, Puranas, Upanishads, on the FB, Whatsapp and through e mails, besides his own blog J K SIVAN’S AALAYA DHARSAN & STORIES for children. His writings with Krishna’s blessings captivated lakhs of netizens,both young and old, globallyHe began writing as a result books mainly for children telling short stories from Mahabharatha, Ramayana and Srimad Bhagavatham besides various other holy scriptures.His way of reaching children and elders with high and intricate philosophical concepts in both Tamil and English for easy understanding through suitable stories, in a very simple lovable language create an instant understanding in the minds of the readers. He has thus brought home many spiritual scripts, Upanishads etc., including the works of Adhi Sankara, Ramanuja and other saints.
Having emerged as a writer at the age of 75, which itself is a record of sorts, within the last 9 years, Shri J.K.Sivan has written more than 135 books dedicated towards creating Krishna Bhakthi in the young minds. Of these, only about 33+ have been printed and reprinted, due to space and finance constraints. All of these stories in the said volumes have received wide appreciation and rave reviews on the internet. Even in the printed version it has similarly received such appreciation. His abovementioned blog carries more than 5000 articles posted by him so far which still continues on every day basis.
Shri J K Sivan is an interesting story teller and good speaker on various spiritual topics and has given recordings to Hindu thamizh thisai spiritual channels, and many other free lancers who approached him for talks without accepting any remuneration.
All the books of Sree Krishnarpanam Seva Society, are not for sale and distributed to children at various schools and in public functions as prizes for their meritorious participation in various quizzes, essays, art, music and oratorical competitions held by SKSTS, from time to time, since these books are brought out from donations contributed by well wishers.
Sri J.K.Sivan, by profession is a specialist consultant in Marine Insurance, having been a top executive in International Shipowning Organisations abroad, besides being a good singer, a team leader in spiritual activities, social activist, and organised pilgrimage to various temples in the South covering about 5000 temples, interested more in renovating neglected, dilapidated ancient temples He resides in Chennai at Nanganallur.
Sundaram Ramachandran
SECRETARY OF SKST
Sundaram Ramachandran is a professional freelance editor for reputed e-publishing companies spread across the world. He has behind him more than 3 decades of experience in editing/proofreading/creating content for clients drawn from India and abroad. He has Masters degrees in Economics, Social Sciences and Management. He is aged 69 years and resides in Chennai. His pastimes include reading books of spiritual content with a particular focus on Lord Sri Krishna.

JAMBUNATHAN SIVAN, is the Treasurer of SREE KRISHNARPANAM SEVA TRUST since inception and is the backbone of the organisation in planning and executing the activities of the Trust for the benefit of children and elders. He is basically a Chartered Accountant besides being a maritime professional. He has nearly two decades of experience in Oil & Gas and is current leading a digital transformation function. ,
He devotes his spare time for the promotional activities of SKST and helps in identifying and sponsoring the educational needs of underprivileged children. He has a vision for the improvement of activities of the SKST and guides the Team effectively in organising functions and get togethers besides distribution of the publications of the Trust to reach as many as possible for inculcating the knowledge of our Culture, tradition and heritage for the benefit of the next generation.
R Gayathri
COMMITTEE MEMBER
Gayathri is a basically a classical Dancer with more than a decade of teaching experience in dance. She is running and administering her own dance school in Chennai. She has trained more than 50 students so far and successfully conducted many programmes by her students at various temples and auditoriums in Chennai besides various programes in popular TV & YouTube channels. She has oragnised and presented Iinteresting performances by her students as live broadcasts in FB.
Gayathri is also an experienced classical singer by passion and it has facilitated her to learn and improve her rendering many classical, devotional and bhajans songs as well enabling her participation in various performances in temples & face book streaming programs as well.
Gayathri has played her role availing various opportunities as judge at many dance & music competitions held in many schools and colleges.
Gayathri is also an accomplished writer and has authored a couple of English spiritual books for children on behalf of Sree Krishnarpanam Seva Trust and her books have been written for easy reading and understanding by children.. Gayathri is a MBA graduate by academic qualification, and her passion is not limited to the Art forms and extends to exploit her skill in being a successful entrepreneur in business. She runs and manages her on-line reselling trading/business activities since 2016, at a time the concept of Reselling” was gaining knowledge among many in public. This in fact has helped her to gain contacts and introduced many friends, and she is popularly known and has a large circle of regular clientele. always approaching her for every need on-line, as a dependable and reliable activist in satisfying their requirements.
Gayathri is versatile and her activities include her able performance in the culinary branch of activity tool. Cooking is her passion and her catering business activities commenced since 2020 and has a decent regular set of clients . Gayathri has motherly role to perform also, as she has a 4 year old kid and devotes her time in bringing up the baby girl academically and be like her in other branches of Art activities.
